The Performance Arcade team are back at Toi Pōneke Arts Centre. As part of our support and opportunities programme, Toi Pōneke is sponsoring office space for this iconic Wellington festival. The team will be working in Project Room 29 from Sept until 17 March 2019.
The Performance Arcade 2019 - Follow the Pink Line: whai mai te rārangi māwhero
The Performance Arcade is an award-winning festival that brings together Live Art, Music and Performance in a specially curated event on Wellington Waterfront. Now in its ninth year, The Performance Arcade has become an anticipated and acclaimed event that defines Wellington's creativity and innovation. Running over two weekends, it is an accessible and FREE event for all, providing opportunities for arts engagement across all cultures and incomes.
The Performance Arcade 2019 features a three-kilometre Pink Line extending along Wellington Waterfront from the Railway Station to Oriental Bay. Building on our vision for Wellington as a city of live art, this dynamic pathway will connect audiences with a diverse range of experiences in live performance, culinary art, music, creative partnerships and public installation.
